My dear brothers and sisters on two wheels, please take snapshots and videos of MMDA officers apprehending violators for the motorcycle lane proposal before the full implementation on October 17...
We can use these images and videos against them because they are starting the apprehensions even before it's implementation...
To those attending the meeting on Saturday, I already know who the proponent and adviser of MMDA for the motorcycle lane... I am collecting much needed evidence to show you and I am also learning more about the rules of the lane because there might be other rules that we don't know of that may give us the freedom to move about and beyond the lane... So I am not assuming anything at this point however, I would like to keep a close eye on this...
The fact still remains that there are problems that we see and what we can suggest to fix this... One of which is the safety of all riders and second, how effective is the enforcement of violators...
Another concern is the fact that we were represented in the government without a lot of us knowing... I my self am guilty of not being aware, but I would want the representation to exert more effort to get the idea across before allowing the government to implement it... The way I see it, it was only shared within their circle and not with everybody... Which brings us back to the painful fact that we are still divided...
What has to happen is we have to bridge the gaps and instead of looking for people to blame, we need to find ways to eliminate the walls that is stopping us from working together...
